Anyone wishing to join a group of enthusiastic embroiderers is welcome to join. This group aims to promote the art and craft of embroidery, by holding monthly meetings and regular work shops. Whether you are an experienced stitcher, or have little or no experience you are welcome to join this group. Tuition and help is always available. Overseas and local tutors run workshops on various occasions through the year and are open to all members.
A Junior Group is also held on each Wednesday 17:30 to 19:00 in term time for younger folk wishing to learn the art of embroidery. Experienced teachers run this programme, and success has been had by the members at national and regional exhibitions.
All meetings are held in the DCS Craft Rooms, 83 Hine Street, New Plymouth and commence at 19:30.
