Farmers Market Taranaki Trust organises and runs the Taranaki Farmers Market. Each Sunday from 9 to 12, in either Currie Street in summer, or on Huatoki Plaza in winter, Local, smallscale growers and producers sell their produce directly to the public. Fruit , nuts and vegetables, eggs from either chickens or ducks, meat and fish, breads and other baked goods, macadamia spreads, jams and pickles, beverages, coffee, but also soaps, lotions and shampoos - all made by the person selling them. The Farmers Market Trust is a not-for-profit organisation, charging a stall rent solely to cover the cost of running the market.

Meetings

Market runs every Sunday - rain, hail or shine - from 9 till noon. Summer venue from November to June is in Currie Street in the center of New Plymouth, the winter venue is on Huatoki Plaza, between Devon Street Ariki Streets.
