Hearing Support Taranaki is a branch of the Hearing Association. Our role is to educate and support the community around hearing loss. The Hearing Association has recently re-established it's presence in New Plymouth after more than ten years.
We offer free advice and support to those who are hard of hearing via a support group(as yet to be established). We offer home visits to those who are struggling with their hearing aids. (for a basic cost covering charge)
We are able to talk with you about your hearing loss or that of a family member and send you in the right direction for help.
We have assistive listening devices and we can advise you regarding telephones.
We also have hearing aid batteries for sale.
